Can I volunteer on the day of the event?
Yes!! We would not be able to run these events without the help of many volunteers. If you would like to sign up to volunteer, please email Tanzina Amin at email@example.com or call 416-626-0116 x242.
How long is the Hike?
The Hike for Hospice is a family-friendly event for all ages. You will have the option to do a short 1km Hike or a longer Hike, 2km to 5km. It is entirely up to you!
Where is the Hike?
The Hike ceremonies, activities and food will be in front of the Hospice at 220 Sherway Drive, Toronto, ON M9C 0A7. The Hike will take place in the adjacent area around the Hospice. You will receive all details with a map closer to the date, and we will have volunteers and signs along the route.
Can I bring children or pets on my Hike?
Yes!! We encourage all family members to join the hike, pets included. This is a FUN event!
Where can I park on the day of the event?
Parking in a designated Trillium parking lot will be free of charge on the day of the event. Please be sure to follow the signs to ensure that you have parked in one of the FREE lots.
I planned on coming, but now I can't make it, what do I do?
Have no fear! We know how busy life can get at times! You are still encouraged to collect donations, and when you are able, do a 1 to 5km walk wherever and whenever you can.
I have collected all my donations, now what do I do with them?
All donations collected online will automatically be tracked. Donations online can be made up until one week after the Hike. Any cash donations collected can be delivered to the Hospice at 220 Sherway Drive, Toronto, ON M9C 0A7.
